Mothering Earth: Feminist Visions for Nurturing Nature and Cultivating Care

At this springtime celebration, we’ll honor mothers and gender expansive caregivers, listening to the lessons they’ve learned from the Earth about survival, sustainability, creativity, courage, strength, struggle, family, fun, home, habitat, loss and love.

  • Engage in meaningful conversations that connect feminist and gender justice principles with environmental stewardship to deepen our understanding of how to embody and enact our values and politics.

  • Taste the power of our reciprocal relationship with the Earth as we eat farm-fresh food to nourish us body and soul.

  • Enjoy enriching activities, including gardening sessions that offer practical skills for cultivating our own spaces, and yoga practices to promote stress relief, self-care and connection to the Earth.

We welcome infants, children and teens; child care will be provided.
